Terms of Use & Repair Warranty Policy

Tropicart Electronics (“we” and “us”) is the operator of (https://tropicartt.com/). F1 Connect Limited, our sister company, being responsible for repairs is guided by this warranty on all 3rd party repairs. At all times throughout this warranty, Tropicart Electronics and F1 Connect Limited can be observed as the same entity and will follow and uphold this warranty.

By placing an order through this Website (this includes opting into any of our services) or by having one of our associates do it for you, you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

SECTION 1 – GENERAL

By opting into our repair service, you agree to a 90 Day Limited Warranty as set out below. We recommend reading through our warranty policy before using any of our services. If you DO NOT agree with the terms of this warranty agreement, please DO NOT proceed with your repair.

SECTION 2 – WHAT IS COVERED IN THE 90 DAY WARRANTY 

Tropicart Electronics 90 Day Limited Warranty covers your device against a defect that arises in the replacement part during the applicable warranty period. Our warranty DOES NOT cover damage caused by accidents or unauthorized modifications.

SECTION 3 – CLAIMING WARRANTY

To make a warranty claim, you must return your device to our facility within the warranty period. Your device would be inspected by our technicians to determine if the issue is one of a manufacturer defect. If this is the case, we will repair the device and assume liability. If the issue found isn’t covered under warranty, the cost of the repair will be at the customer’s expense. 

SECTION 4 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The liability of Tropicart Electronics under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the device, at our option. Tropicart Electronics will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the repair of your device, including but not limited to, loss of use, loss of data, or loss of profits.

SECTION 5 – WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary.

This warranty policy is subject to change without notice.

SECTION 6 – DIAGNOSTIC FEES

Tropicart Electronics is entitled to charge a Diagnostic Fee even if you choose not to proceed with the repair or we are unable to repair your device. This Diagnostic Fee is $100TTD.

SECTION 7 – PARTS & LABOUR

The cost provided to the customer would include Parts and Labor. If at any time, we deem more parts are required to effectively repair your device, this advice will be provided to the customer and the decision to proceed is ultimately theirs.

SECTION 8 – MAIL IN SERVICE

If you decide to opt into our mail in service, you will ship your product to Tropicart Electronics repair service location in accordance with Tropicart Electronics instructions. Tropicart Electronics is NOT RESPONSIBLE for loss or damage whilst the package is in transit. Tropicart Electronics will provide a prepaid shipping label that can be used to ship the package. Once service is complete, Tropicart Electronics will return the repaired product to you.

SECTION 9 – RETURN & PAYMENT OF REPAIRED DEVICE

Tropicart Electronics will return the repaired device via courier to the customer. Customers can make payments either before shipping or to the courier when collecting their repaired device.
